Vintage -The 2010 vintage produced some very good Pinot Gris, the basis of this wine. The weather worked in our favour resulting in ripe, flavoursome fruit with good fruit balance.
Appearance -Classic "eye of the Partridge" colour due to the dash of Pinot Noir added.
Aroma -Attractive pear and spice notes are the character of this type of wine.
Palate -Flavoursome, clean, fresh with juicy fruit flavours lingering on the palate. The medium weight and balanced acidity make the wine suitable for immediate enjoyment.
Cellaring -The style of this wine suggests enjoying while young and fruity.
Serving - Best presented at 100C to 150C for overall pleasure.
Food Accompaniments -Great with summer salads al fresco. An aperitif or any time pleasure. White meats, fish and other sea food dishes would work well also.
