Vintage - The 2009 vintage was a good follow up on 2008. Ripe flavoured fruit with elegance and depth. The balance backed up uniform growing conditions throughout the year. Chardonnay = 60% and Pinot Gris = 40%
Bright medium gold colour.
Distinctive Chardonnay aromas of ripe melon and peach, refined by the William bon Cretian pear aromatics of the Gris. Oak spice infusion present.
Flavoursome, clean, fresh fruit flavours with just a hint of fruit sweetness. balanced oak and acidity make for a fresh, vibrant complex wine.
Enjoy this while young, but keep some for 3 - 5 years to see how the wine complexes with time.
Best presented at 10 - 15 C for overall enjoyment

All types of game bird dishes, meatier flavoured fish, salads and chicken dishes. Other white meats will suit the wine as well. Pork an early starter as well.
